Outpatient services provide assessment,
evaluation, treatment and medication
monitoring to consumers of all ages suffering with mental, emotional, behavioral,
or substance abuse disorders ranging from mild to disabling severity. Treatment
modalities utilized are individual, group and/or
family therapies provided by licensed/certified mental health professionals.
Medication evaluations and monitoring are conducted by psychiatrists or
physicians with assistance by registered nurses and licensed practical
nurses. Outpatient services are designed to allow a consumer to receive
treatment in his/her community without the necessity for inpatient or residential
care. Also, our outpatient programs include provisions for individuals
requiring emergency care. We have a counselor and consulting psychiatrist/physician
on-call 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. These outpatient staff members
can arrange inpatient admissions when indicated, utilizing either local
hospital resources or out-of-region hospital placement if appropriate.
