Our goal is to help individuals 50 and older, who are experiencing loneliness, isolation, the "blues", or who are mentally or emotionally challenged, maintain and enhance their quality of life by offering opportunities for social interaction, promote health maintenance and increase leisure/recreational activities.  The services provided include peer interaction, individual, family and group counseling, nutritional support, nursing and health monitoring and health education.  Also included are arts and crafts, singing, dancing, daily low-impact exercise, monthly birthday parties, therapeutic outings, and opportunities to develop leisure skills.  Breakfast and lunch are provided free of charge.  In Greenville, which also has a program beginning in the afternoon, lunch and dinner are provided free of charge. Our programs, which are Medicaid based, offer services from 9:00a m to 2:00 pm in Cleveland, 8:30 am to 2 pm in Rolling Fork.  Greenville has two programs from 7:30am to 1230pm and 1pm to 6pm.  The programs in all counties run Monday through Friday except on holidays.  Transportation is offered to those who cannot provide their own.
